Application Lifecycle Management Competency The Inner Circle program has been replaced by the new Application Lifecycle Management competency within the Microsoft Partner Network.
If you have a deep knowledge of Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio and experience providing ALM services, take advantage of the growing market opportunity, deepen your skills, and stand out from the crowd by achieving the Application Lifecycle Management competency.
The ALM competency is for system integrators, testing organizations, and training organizations with one or more service offerings that enable customers to improve their development capabilities and make the most of their IT investments. Eligible partners must have an established expertise in one or more of these fields:
- Customization, integration, extension, and deployment of Visual Studio
- Software quality implementation and testing services
- Process design and improvement consulting services
- Instructor led deep-dive training for Visual Studio
The Application Lifecycle Management competency enables partners to demonstrate their expertise in providing training and consultation for, or deploying Microsoft Visual Studio tools. Partners with expertise in ALM and Visual Studio can build their business by providing their customers a range of services, including:
- Pre-sales consulting
- Post-sale implementation and training
- Consultation on testing practices
- ALM assessments
- Custom application development
